A tour around the vineyard gives these days a natural spectacle concentrated in the smallest: there begin to emerge from the end of the stalks the tiny grape flowers.

Compact bunches are anticipating what after a few months will be the fruits. Now one can only hope that the sun and favourable weather conditions protect their growth. For us it is exciting to see these small white spots: there´s the future, the Luberri wine of the next harvest.

Our U.S. distributor, Andre Tamers, just gave us a scoop that is a real impulse to start the summer with joy: the latest issue of The Wine Advocate, Robert Parker’s famous guide, has awarded Seis de Luberri with 90 points and Biga de Luberri with 91 points.

Jay Miller, Parker’s right-hand man, has conducted the tasting and his notes highlights the already revealing bit of complexity in Seis and the A bit more brooding aromatically Biga, of which the structure, he says, is optimal for a good evolution. In general, Miller thinks about our wines that that are excellent to outstanding values”. Tank you, Jay!

As you know, between April 11 and 14 we were at the International Exhibition of the Gourmets Club, in Madrid, and the outcome has been highly positive. We attended a large number of visitors and we had the opportunity to meet many people who were interested in our wines.

And now? Well, we do not stop, we are just now finalizing the preparations to go to Fenavin, the National Wine Fair held in Ciudad Real in a few days, from May 10 to 12. This is one of the most important events of the year and, once again, the appointment makes us especially excited. We´ll be in the Basque Government´s stand in hall NOE, street A8 - B9.
